Ajax reached the final of the play-offs for European football on Thursday after a 2-0 win over FC Groningen in the Kras Stadium of FC Volendam. FC Utrecht won 3-2 against sc Heerenveen. The winner of the Ajax – FC Utrecht duel on Sunday will qualify for the first round of the UEFA Conference League. Ajax appreciates the cooperation and hospitality of FC Volendam very much. After the win over FC Groningen, Ajax will play on Sunday 24 May at 12:15 PM in the final of the play-offs for a European ticket against FC Utrecht. This match cannot be played in the Johan Cruijff ArenA and will therefore also be played in the stadium of FC Volendam. The ticket sale starts on Friday 22 May at 13.00 PM.
