FC Utrecht participated in the OSM Walking Football tournament and finished in eighth place. The team showed a sporty effort and team spirit. Under the inspiring leadership of Han, a great performance was set. In the group stage, we finished impressively as second, which caused a lot of enthusiasm and confidence within the team. Then the team faced the tough match against leader Feyenoord. Despite a sporty and fighting effort, we had to acknowledge our superior and lost with 3-0. The efforts began to take their toll and fatigue set in, causing us to lose the next match as well. However, pride prevails. Of the 16 participating teams, we ultimately finished in a beautiful eighth place. A result to look back on with satisfaction, especially considering the effort, pleasure, and team spirit that were visible throughout the day (including the third half).
